Yoshino et al (2006) notes that the cell line carries a Y chromosome and is therefore unlikely to come from the original donor. HBL-100 was originally reported to come from "Human milk ... obtained by hand expression from a nursing mother 3 days after delivery" (Gaffney, 1982; PMID: 6891286). See also "Misidentified Cell Lines" page on the ATCC website.

Instruction

Use luciferase gene expressing lentivirus constructed by Ubigene to infect the HBL-100 cell line， screen the cells based on the resistance marker and the optimal antibiotic screening concentration explored in advance, resulting in a HBL-100-Luc cell line that can maintain long-term, stable and high expression.
